Lady Geeks of Atlanta was founded on the values of inclusivity, diversity, and geekery centered around the feminine experience. Thus our Code of Conduct aligns with these values to create a safe space for our community.
Any violation of our Code of Conduct will result in your immediate suspension and/or permanent removal from the LGA Organizers team. Permanent removal is at the discretion of the admin team.

Event Organizer Requirements:
- Host a minimum of one event per quarter for a total of four events in a calendar year.
- Organizers may not charge a fee for the event except to cover event costs (for example: a supply fee to cover craft supplies for a craft event, group tickets, etc.). If such a fee must be assessed, please make note of it in the upcoming events doc so the rest of the team is aware. Receipts will be required.
- Events must align with the overall LGA values.
- In the event you cannot host a scheduled event, please try to find a replacement host among the other Event Organizers.
- In the event that you cannot find an official Event Organizer to replace you, but the event is a paid, ticketed event (for example, Shakespeare’s Tavern), designate an attendee of that event to lead the group as a one-time thing.
- In the event you cannot find a replacement, cancel the event on all channels and communicate the cancellation to attendees. If refunds must be issued, please let the admin team know.
- What happens in the event organizer chat stays in the event organizer chat; let’s keep this a safe space for our event organizers to chat and plan events.
